André Leon Talley is a former editor-at-large, and now contributing editor of Vogue, as well as an author and curator.
André Leon Talley, formerly editor-at-large, and now contributing editor of Vogue, author, and curator–recently curated four exhibits of his lifelong friend Oscar de la Renta, art SCAD, Museum of Fine Arts, Savannah, Georgia, 2015: San Fransisco, at the De Young Museum in 2016: the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas, in 2017 and the Mint Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina currently till July 29th. Talley’s career began with a volunteer role, to Diana Vreeland, at the Costume Institute, at The Met. He worked for Andy Warhol as Fashion Editor, before joining Women’s Wear Daily, where he rose to the top, becoming Paris Bureau Chief. Talley has lived in Paris, both for Women’s Wear Daily and Vogue. He counts among his friends international world class designers, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld, Miuccia Prada, Ralph Lauren.
