Logan Hill is a regular contributor to The New York Times.
He is also the host of ScreenTimes and frequently hosts TimesTalks, for which he has interviewed, among others, Pedro Almodóvar, Barry Jenkins, Nicole Kidman, John Legend and Norman Lear. For eleven years, Mr. Hill worked at New York magazine and Vulture as a critic, editor and reporter, while interviewing hundreds of artists, from Edward Albee to Zhang Yimou. He also spent a year as a senior editor at GQ. In addition to writing for the Arts pages of The New York Times, he has contributed to Businessweek, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Esquire, Rolling Stone, Variety, “This American Life,” among others. He is a 2017 Nonfiction Critics Fellow at the Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program.
